NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series
The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series (NAAPWS) is NASCAR's national championship program for short track racing. Each year approximately 10,000 people race at NASCAR-sanctioned short-tracks, throughout the US and Canada. The series crowns champions at a track, state and provincial, regional and national level. This includes nearly 50 tracks across 25 different states as well as four provinces. Many racers use this as the starting point of their career. With different divisions and levels, it allows them to climb the ladder in their career, which for some has led to anywhere from ARCA to Cup series.
